Lake Tahoe historical society

The Walking Tours of historic South Lake Tahoe neighborhoods were started in July 2015 by volunteers with the Lake Tahoe Historical Society.  The walking tours were originally on a map that is available for purchase at the museum.  We then created this Web site so those walking along the tour can scan the QR code at each location and find out what happened near that spot where they're standing.  More neighborhoods are now being researched and plotted out.
